#251
Hey! I missed all of the updates last week (no big deal, first time ever, due for a break, etc.), so I’m jumping past them from strip #247 to this one, strip #251. It just makes more sense for what I’ve written. I’ll go back in and add #248, #249, and #250 when I get some extra time, and’ll post down here whenever that happens.
Jimmy, time loop means another time cycle?
是,可能说时间环? 看不看过电影叫《今天暂时停止》? 是一样的。
I saw the movie The Groundhog Day. First it is a strange movie as the main role always live in the same day, today. Tomorrow is the repetition of yesterday, right? How did it happend, I don’t get it. Would you please explain to me? Time loop means someone started something regularly, again and again? Groundhog is 土拨鼠, is it same as guinea pig?
It’s been a long time since I saw it, but the movie’s just a funny magical metaphor. I don’t think there’s a rational explanation for the one-day-repeating phenomenon. And you already seem to understand a time loop.
Thank you, Jimmy. It reminds me of an English movie called About Time. Funny and amazing movie. Did you see it? It is also about time loop. The main charactors are father and son who have special magic power to go back time and correct the behaviors he did before and then make his life much nicer. Maybe that is our human’s wish that we can go back previous time and do something more wisely or say words more tender. Is that right, Jimmy?
I think you’re absolutely right.
