For the second time, I’ll be in the Artist’s Alley at Planet Comicon in a couple of weeks! March 14th, 15th and 16th. I’m looking forward to it because I had such a good time last year, and this time I have (1) an even better comic and (2) better stuff to bring. You can come, too! Except, you know … it’ll cost you between $15 and $60, depending on your age, when you get your tickets, and how many days you plan on attending. Also, once you’re inside, it’s hard not to spend a lot more money. There’s tons and tons of merchandise, artists doing commissions, some food vendors, and even a handful of charitable causes. A lot of the celebrity guests’ll even charge you for an autograph.

Anyway, I understand that all this is expensive enough and most people don’t want to drop dollars on a webcomic they’ve never heard of. Last year, I sold a couple of small prints. This year, all my stuff at Planet Comicon is gonna be free. It’s not a lot of stuff, but here’s what’s cooking right now:

  • 115 prints (4×6) of the Unsinkablesaurus from DK#66
  • at least 20 photocopy copies of Bicyclopedia
  • some super-cheap flyers for the new Twine adventure, Dinosaur Kid & The Snow That Had Pirates On It — which’ll definitely be uploaded by then
  • an unpredictable number of original, one-of-a-kind drawings that I’ll be doing all weekend

If there’s anything else you’d like to see, let me know! I’ve still got 4 weeks to prepare. We’re gonna have a good time. I’m gonna have a tip jar, too, with a suggested donation of $10,000,000.00.
