The past few comics have had chunkier lines than intended, because I was unnecessarily duplicating the layers, which was causing some virulent replication in the adumbration matrix. It’s all (not) very technical. So then I deleted the extra layer, and now the linework is cleaner (as in the original, before scanning). Isn’t this fascinating?
I stopped paying for ads (for the time being). Something like $40 through April brought me about 8,000 pageviews, which is fantastic — but now things are slowing down again. I guess DK’s not making it into a lot of bookmark folders yet. Still — if you’re here to read the comic, I really appreciate it. I hope you like this color stuff.
“Jelly is my jam” almost made me laugh out loud at work. Love it!
I’ve found that for my business, social media has been way more successful than trying to pay for ads. Ads always got me views, but never sales.
I’m missing the watercolors. This one’s a classic.
I’m always experimenting with the comic, and the color in this storyline is no exception. Once I finish all this “Pop Goes the Dino” stuff, I’m gonna see if I can do full watercolors without losing it.
The moose bus driver seems familiar to me. :-)
