Speaking of the radio, I got to do my first radio interview recently. It was with UMKC’s student station, K-ROO, for a spoken word program called “Word Up.” It was really, really fun (technical difficulties aside). In it, I read a couple of poems and a few pages of fiction, and spend a while talking about Dinosaur Kid and other comics. You can listen to the whole thing at Number One Magazine’s website, if you want, and hear my weird, fuzzy voice.
I keep accidentally posting the comic in CMYK color instead of RGB, and the website autoconverts it to RGB, but weird stuff happens in the process. Take a look below. The first one is the last comic, as intended, colored in CMYK and converted to RGB. The second one is what happens if I leave it in CMYK mode — this neon vividification.
It’s not important; I just thought it was interesting.
