Usually I ink everything and scan the comic in. For this one, I used Photoshop to put some perfect circles in the background (I don’t have a compass to draw them). I don’t know — it doesn’t look right to me. No biggie.

I redesigned Skunk Kid to be more interesting. For the next update, I’ll post some sketchbook stuff down here to show how it happened. Basically, I realized that none of my characters ever really had a moving mouth and then I tried to give her one. The result is more personality — which is not surprising, but it IS cool. Come back on Wednesday to see what she thinks of her Valentine (and to read it for yourself)!

PS – I’m really proud of the hoverjoke on this one.
